Social media can be a minefield for cannabis brands, especially so for cannabis retailers. And it can be extra tricky to do paid social media as a cannabis retailer while staying on the platforms’ good sides (looking at you Meta). But we have a few tricks up our sleeve, and they allowed us to take Shangri-La’s social media to the next level – or any level since their social accounts had been throttled for so long before we took it over. We were able to bring their social media accounts back from the dead and stay in good standing with Meta, all while doing some fun campaigns that not only touted events and other happenings at the stores, but that became a unique channel for some brand campaigns that paid off the Shangri-La brand in fun ways. With some ingenuity and social media elbow grease, we grew their accounts back from scratch and got a much bigger, better, and way more engaged audience following as a result.
