It’s easy to get complacent driving around big rigs. Most of us find sharing the road with a big rig almost every day – and there’s not a second that truck drivers aren’t in the presence of passenger vehicles. It’s so common that we forget how serious accidents between big rigs and cars can be. To help reduce these “big rig versus vehicle” accidents, we teamed up with Kirvin-Doak Communications and the Nevada Highway Patrol’s Badge on Board program and Zero Fatalities to create “Live to See the Road Ahead.” These social media videos highlighted high-risk driving behaviors of both truckers and passenger vehicle drivers. By making all drivers aware of these behaviors and why they’re so deadly, hopefully we can help truckers drive safer around vehicles and vice-versa, so everyone behind a wheel can “live to see the road ahead.”
