After School All-Stars is a Vegas-based after school program that gives at-risk kids a time to shine with a mix of academic enrichment and “just for fun” extracurriculars. While ASAS is a great program that’s attended by thousands of students in the school district, they compete for resources and much-needed donor dollars with dozens of other after-school programs in the region. ASAS realized they needed to brush up their brand platform, along with their visual and verbal identity to make a better impression on the funding sources that keep their programs growing. We worked with them to create a platform that included updated mission, vision and values statements, a brand narrative, and an all-new look that can be used in their communications. This was all put together in a “brand toolkit,” which gave them a basic set of marketing communications deliverables – brand brochure, sell sheets, ad and poster templates, social media ads, and website graphics – using their new look and language that could be updated on the fly as needed by their small in-house team.
